The SC2104 Series Slave Communicators monitor the telephone line for failures and send these reports on to the central monitoring station. It takes less than 200 ms from the time an event occurs for a SC2104 Slave Communicator to send its signal and receive an acknowledgement from the central monitoring station. Each SC2104 has four inputs that are field expandable to eight, for security protection with or without a functional telco line. This feature makes each SC2104 model ideal for accounts that require basic alarm data reporting with the reliability of two-way radio.
The two-way communications capability in every SAFECOM product means individual units can be remotely controlled and supervised. All of the radio control parameters and supervision timing intervals are programmable directly from the central monitoring station. Each SC2104 model is easy to install and provides fast, reliable communications.
