These are thread repair dies that for repairing and cleaning threads only. They are made standard with right hand Unified and American National Thread Form.
If you have a thread that has rust on it or the thread is bruised or dinged, this is probably the most economical solution you will need to repair the damage. These dies are hex shaped and resemble a nut. They can be used with your standard monkey wrench, in bit brace sockets, ratchet, and open and boxed end wrenches.
